Francisco Rivera, or better known as Chef Frank was born in Puerto Rico where he began working at La Factoria a World Recognized Craft cocktail bar not knowing this would be a passion he would chase for the rest of his life. He soon fell in love with the energetic atmosphere, the intensity, loud environment, and chaos.
Since then, he kitchen hopped through Los Angeles, before making his way to Sacramento. Chef Frank has made his loud and energetic personality known at some of Sacramento’s most prestigious restaurants such as Allora, Localis, Mulvaney’s, & Hawks, The Golden Bear. Chef Frank continues to build his craft by building relationships through out the Sacramento food industry especially by connecting with local farmers and growers to offer from scratch dishes that showcase locally grown ingredients.
When Chef doesn’t have his knife in his hand , you can find him playing drums, slowing down with his family, chasing food inspirations in beach towns, wandering farmers markets, cooking for friends, or promising his mom he will be back to visit Puerto Rico soon.
